District of Columbia Department of Health To Host Free Hands-on Emergency Preparedness Conference
The District of Columbia Department of Health’s Emergency Healthcare Reserve Corps will host a free hands-on emergency health preparedness conference on Saturday, June 19, 2004, at Galludett University. The conference, entitled: Meeting the Challenges of Emergency Preparedness, Day 2: The Recovery, is geared towards training volunteer first responders in various aspects of emergency preparedness.
The event is open to the public and media.
